NOOSA TRAINING CAMP

Our next training camp at Noosa is from Thursday August 15th to Sunday August 18th.  It is a perfect time to get in some solid work for the up coming season, especially if you’re racing Sunshine Coast 70.3IM, Worlds, Kona and Noosa.

We have a 2 and 3 night option available and will again be staying at the fantastic RACV Resort, Noosa Heads.  As always we cater for all abilities so if you would like to attend contact [email protected]

SPONSOR NAME CHANGE

Our good friends and supporters at UQ Sports and Rehab Physio have moved and renamed to Brisbane Sports and Spinal.  They are still located at the University of Queensland but in a different spot at Union Rd level of 1 of the UQU building near the swimming pool.

Paul Fien and Peter Stanton have had some fantastic results with some of our members in keeping them healthy and injury free for racing.  Tri Alliance member get 15% off treatments so contact them on 3871 0633 if you have any injury concerns.

TRAINING CALENDAR CHANGES

Our wonderful Pilates coach and long time member Alissa Williams is leaving our Brisbane squad and moving to the Gold Coast.  Alissa and her partner Brendan have some very exciting things in the works with a new business project that will see them based from the Gold Coast.

Fortunately Alissa will still be part of the Tri Alliance coaching team heading up our soon to be launched junior program on the Gold Coast.  However that does mean the Pilates session will no longer be part of our program after Alissa leaves next week.

Having Alissa as part of the coaching team in Brisbane was a great benefit and we were able to utilise her expertise in Pilates and offer that session to members.  However at this stage we don’t have anyone else to replace her without it increasing costs too much for us and our members.

We are currently reviewing our calendar and looking at different training options for a Wednesday night to replace Pilates.  As soon as we have something finalised we will let everyone know.

We would also like to thank Alissa for her wonderful coaching in this area.  Not only is she a talented athlete but also a very professional and knowledgeable coach. We look forward to having her as part of our Gold Coast coaching team and wish her and Brendan all the best in their new venture.
