WORD FROM THE COACHES
With the last of the Gatorade Triathlon races completed on the weekend at StKilda, 95% of our athletes have now finished racing for the season – this does however leave 5% who ARE still competing and with big races ahead, before they get to enjoy some down time.
So while the rest of us are enjoying sleeping in, relaxing and eating, we have a small group of athletes still training for races, and/or will start back their training early including:
- Caroline Houston, Geoff Houston and Mark Skilton – Sprint Worlds
- Catherine Allison, Emma Oliver and Hendrick Zimmet – Olympic Worlds
- Catherine Allison – doubling up with the Half IM Worlds
- James Ogilvie – Busso Half IM
- Tim French and Charlie Nathan – Cairns Half IM
- Peter Hinrichsen and Paul Raynor – Cairns IM
- Rohan Belmore and Nick Sissons – Port Mac IM
- Janet Miller and Steve Bridges – Challenge Roth!
- Anne-Marie Cooke – Challenge Gold Coast
So if you see our athletes out there training, make sure you let them know you are behind them and give them a shout out. it can be tough training through winter so good luck to our team.

SUPPORT A GREAT CAUSE!
I’m walking 100km in Oxfam Trailwalker Melbourne, 2 – 4 May, to challenge myself and to help fight poverty around the world.
I will be completing this challenge as a team of 4 ladies coming together to be called – 3 Girls & a Princess !!
Raising just $250 for Oxfam Trailwalker is enough money to provide orphaned and vulnerable children and their families with nourishing meals for a whole month at a South African crèche. So we are asking for your kind donation in helping us reach our overall target of $5000 – this is going to go a long way! Just $10 or $20 from some of you will be a great help!
Thank you for supporting my 100km Oxfam Trailwalker challenge and for fighting poverty – 3 Girls & a Princess link for any donation
Also like us on Facebook and follow how we are progressing with our training leading up to the day. Appreciate all your support.
