Elwood Lifesaving Club to Black Roack Return – John’s last ride.
There will be a memorial ride leaving from the car park behind Elwood Life Saving Club at 10am on Friday morning.
A Tribal vehicle will lead the riders out – representing the many years John spent training with the club.
A Tri Alliance vehicle will follow the riders – representing the last months of John’s life that he spent coaching and training with the Tri Alliance Squad.
The slow ride will follow Beach Road out to the Black Rock round-about where we will return to Elwood Life Saving Club. This is a total distance of around 22km.
