WORD FROM THE COACHESGiant Bikes
Thanks to everyone who came along to our Ironman BBQ and Family Day on Sunday. A huge turn out with close to 60 athletes, friends and family enjoying great food, great company and sunshine at Elwood Beach. What more can you ask for! A big thanks to those who brought some of the delicious food along, to Aussie Farmers Direct for the donation of sausages and Laurimar Bakers Delight for the bread and hot cross buns. With all your help and your hungry stomachs we raised just over $500 for our Smiling for Smiddy Campaign. An awesome effort! MOOLOOLABA OLYMPIC DISTANCE
The last race of the Olympic Distance Qualifying Series is this weekend in Mooloolaba and we have a number of athletes from Victoria and a big crew from Queensland heading to the ‘sunshine coast’! Good luck to: Jill Sultan, Lisa Dominquez, Shane Buntman, Xavier Flynn, Emma Oliver, Catherine Allison and the team frmo QLD. Lets hope the nasty weather settles down! (If you are racing and not on our list, please email [email protected].
