WORD FROM THE COACHES
Another week – another race! This time the Geelong Multi-Sports festival incorporating the Olympic Distance qualifier and Long Course events. Tri Alliance had 59 athletes racing in Geelong (hopefully we didn’t miss anyone!) on what was a great conditions for a race. Click here to read our Geelong Race Results and Race Report.
This week most athletes have enjoyed an easier week, ready to freshen up for their final build into Sufferfest, Portarlington, and Ironman Melbourne. Time is certainly flying – no time to be complacent now, as your races will be here and the racing season over before you know it!
And with that, our Team in the Office are already busily planning post race season – including our April Training Timetable (plenty of FUN!), goal setting workshops and the all important End of Season Presentation Night! Stay tuned as dates and details will be released shortly!
NISSAN CORPORATE TRIATHLON – THIS WEEKEND

Tri Alliance also has another team headed up by Coach Darren with his team mates athletes Stephen Drake and Ben Sullivan. And Coach Bernadette has also been working hard with a group of 25 beginners in the sport who also will be taking on the race for their respective organisations – so good luck to you all, especially if it is your first triathlon! 🙂 Tri Alliance has also had a hand at filling numerous other athletes corporate teams – so happy racing to everyone out there on Sunday. Be safe!

WINNING THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER……
Triathletes like to win. There is no doubt about it. They like to be the best at what they do. Whether that be a race, at work, being a good friend, training partner. You name it and we like to be the best at it. Some would call us over achievers or perfectionists, others just call us down right mad. But either way you look at it, it can only be a good thing for the world we live in! 🙂
AND SO….. When we we provided with the idea of supporting Smiling for Smiddy to help fight cancer, we thought what better way to help others AND this was another way to WIN! WIN AGAINST QUEENSLAND THAT IS! 🙂
Thanks to Brianna Scarlett and Michelle Grocock who are our biggest fundraisers so far, plus the numerous other athletes friends and family who have donated. Tri Alliance Victoria has already raised $8,089 towards our goal target of $50,000 (nearly double Tri Alliance Queensland if you were wondering!) 😉
