WORD FROM THE COACHES
Considering we are inching towards the back end of the triathlon season in Victoria, the energy, enthusiasm and motivation amongst athletes seems to be at an all time high at the moment. With some key races under the belt (Sandringham/Geelong) and some big races ahead, (Davenport, Portarlington, Ironman Melbourne) it’s all systems go. We also have a large number of new athletes starting with us as they graduate from our Try-the-Tri Program and there is nothing like new athletes to reinvigorate those who have had a long hard training and racing season. So keep up the great work team and lets finish off the season strong!

TRI ALLIANCE TAKES ON IRONMAN MELBOURNE AND WE WANT YOU !
Our team of athletes training for Ironman Melbourne are now in their final big 3 week build into the race which is now only 5 short weeks away. Around half of those racing are new to the Ironman Distance – so the Ironman Campaign has been a huge learning curve and tough on the body both physically and mentally.
Over the next 3 weeks, our athletes will be completing runs from Frankston back through to Sandringham and Elwood in the aid to help them prepare for the course on race day.
This is where YOU come in. Our fantastic partners GIANT BICYCLES have provided us with two Giant Mountain Bikes to use while training, and our athletes would love if anyone is free to jump on a bike and follow/float amongst our athletes as they run back towards Melbourne. Runs start at 8.00am in Frankston on Sunday Mornings for the next 3 weeks. Tri Alliance can provide transport to Frankston for both yourself and the bike (leaving at 6am though) for you can arrange alternatives. (maybe meet us half way?) Up to you! Contact [email protected] if you would like to be involved.
LOOK THE PART IN TRI ALLIANCE GEAR!
We have received fantastic feedback on the recent additions to our Tri Alliance Clothing Range including our running and cycling gear. So much so that we sold out of cycling gear in the first week of it arriving! Our new order is currently in production already and will arrive in 3 weeks. So if you missed out you won’t have too long to wait.
We still have varying sizes in stock of all clothing though – so if you haven’t got your hands on training or racing gear yet make sure ORDER ONLINE TODAY!

WINNING THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER……
Triathletes like to win. There is no doubt about it. They like to be the best at what they do. Whether that be a race, at work, being a good friend, training partner. You name it and we like to be the best at it. Some would call us over achievers or perfectionists, others just call us down right mad. But either way you look at it, it can only be a good thing for the world we live in!Â
AND SO….. When we we provided with the idea of supporting Smiling for Smiddy to help fight cancer, we thought what better way to help others AND this was another way to WIN! WIN AGAINST QUEENSLAND THAT IS!Â
Thanks to Brianna Scarlett and Michelle Grocock who are our biggest fundraisers so far, plus the numerous other athletes friends and family who have donated. Tri Alliance Victoria has already raised $8,089 towards our goal target of $50,000 (nearly double Tri Alliance Queensland if you were wondering!)Â
