Beginner Learn to Swim Program

This program is designed for those who have a basic level of swimming but want to further develop their skills to improve their swim technique.  A small working group allows our Swim Coach Ryan to spend more time on each participant giving you maximum value out of each session.  

Participants must be able to swim at least 50m continuously.

Sessions will provide you with informtation, practical drills, advice and tips on the following:

  • Correct Body Position
  • Breathing and head position
  • Feeling and catching the water
  • Hand entry and exit
  • Arm and kick technique
  • Drills to help in your normal training
  • Open water swim technique
  • Plus more!!

Duration: 1 session a week for 5 weeks

: Saturday afternoons
Location: Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre.
Group Size: 14 places only! 
Cost
: Only $149 for 5 weeks, plus receive a FREE Swim cap. (pool entry additional for non Tri Alliance Athletes) 
Equipment required
: EVERY participants MUST bring a pair of FINS and a Pool Buoy OR Kick Board. If you do not have these, you MUST purchase in advance. These can be purchased online HERE or from most sports shops.
