Winter TRY-the-TRI Beginner Triathlon Program
Always wanted to do a triathlon but don’t know where to start?
Tri Alliance Triathlon Coaching offers a 6 week beginner program covering all aspects of triathlon training and provides you with a taste of the technique and skills to compete this coming season. We have two programs open over winter, leading into the Victorian Duathlon Series – great race practise for a triathlon! So if you have been thinking about trying a triathlon, now is your chance to get a head start before the season commences!
PROGRAM INCLUDES:
- Up to 5 coached sessions a week for 6 weeks
- Your own training program to follow at home

- Swim, bike and run technique & fitness
- Weekly tips & tricks and general training advice
- Direct contact with our experienced and friendly coaches
- Race transition setup & race tips
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE

WHAT EQUIPMENT YOU NEED:
- Swim: Goggles, swimmers, pool buoy
- Bike: Bike, helmet, bike shoes (or runners)
- Run: Runners & running gear
SESSION DAYS | TIMES
There are up to 5 coached sessions you can attend, which will help you develop fitness, confidence and learn all the triathlon skills you need to know.
- Monday: 6.15-7.15pm Run, Albert Park Lake
- Tuesday: 6.00-7.00am Beginner Swim session and/or 6.15pm indoor bike session, MSAC
- Wednesday: Active Recovery / day off
- Thursday: 6.15pm Run, The Tan
- Friday: Day Off
- Saturday: 9.00am Bike/skills, Albert Park Lake
- Sunday: Active Recovery or day off
