Hi Andreas,
Two part answer, if you are training specifically for a marathon, then pace is your pure marathon pace. If you are training for Ironman then planned IM Marathon pace.

If my program talks about the “expected marathon pace”, is that my planned IM marathon pace? Or the 20secs faster pure marathon pace?Long Run, Ironman Build
